Frequently Asked Questions Where are you located? What’s the parking situation? We are located at 4001 Yancey Rd. Charlotte, NC 28217. Building C, Suite 100. Enter our complex (Bowers) off Yancey Rd. We are in the back right area of the parking lot. We are in the same building (but located behind them) as Line-x. You’ll see signs for us as you get closer! We have two dedicated parking lots that are also shared by our neighbors. Our main parking lot holds 200 spots and the overflow lot just across the street has 100. There is also street parking (all free), but can get crowded during popular times. Okay, I see you do a lot of things. Where should I start? There are many offerings from Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen! If you’re here to learn you’ll want to find our culinary or baking classes. And for those 21 and under check our kids/teens pages. Looking for meals? We have three kinds: Office Lunch Catering, Family Table To-Go Meals and Holiday Catering. Similar but all a little different and unique depending on the occasion! How do classes work? Is there an age restriction? They are fun, interactive and filled with great recipes and information. Our adult classes are ages 21+ only. This is a hard rule. We do have parent + child (ages 7-12) and parent + teen (ages 11-18) to take together. Along with a few teens foundations classes throughout the year. You’ll work in a group of 4 to share and split the tasks and ultimately be able to make the full meal. There is a chef demo first with guests listening. Then music comes back on and each table works on their next steps before they are ready to sit down about after a little over 2 hours of cooking.  Will I get a degree or certificate from taking your classes? While we have a lot to learn and takeaway, our events do not have a certificate or degree.
