Developed by a Speech-Language Pathologist, LexiMatch is a simple and comprehensive application designed to help children, adolescents and adults who experience word-retrieval difficulties or challenges with vocabulary acquisition. During the exercise, the player must identify three words that are related in meaning from a set of four words. Words can be grouped based on categories, functions or shared characteristics. The app includes: • 8 difficulty levels for picture-based associations. • 9 difficulty levels for written-word associations. Users have the option to manually select the set of words or images they wish to present. Furthermore, the application allows for the creation of customized lists using the items included in the program. If desired, a brief reinforcement game provides an engaging way to conclude sessions. The app is bilingual. You can work in English or French. Available on iPad.
