Waterways app is a fun, playful, tactile, self-directed, engaging, multisensory emotional support tool that promotes well-being and helps people ages 6 and up relieve stress and manage their mood using soothing nature imagery and audio. Waterways app was created by a licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in art therapy and almost 20 years of counseling experience. Working full-time for 3 years as a counselor and social worker in a men’s prison, the creator realized that a simulated nature activity could provide a soothing experience for people unable to get out in nature, and those needing convenient emotional support.
