ASDetect enables parents and caregivers to review possible early signs of autism in their children aged younger than 2 ½ years. With actual clinical videos of children with and without autism, each question focuses on a specific ‘social communication’ behaviour, for example, pointing, social smiling. This award-winning app is based on comprehensive, rigorous, world-class research conducted at the Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre at La Trobe University, Australia. The research underlying this app has proven 81% - 83% accurate in the early detection of autism. Assessments take only 20-30 minutes, and parents can review their answers before submitting. As autism and related conditions can develop over time, the app contains 3 assessments: for children aged 12, 18 and 24 months.
