Why was this made? I saw a lot of interesting memes in the Reddit /r/memes community, but it was hard to save and find them in albums. Making memes searchable seemed like a better idea. 2. Free app? Yees! Because it's fun. Everything runs on your phone, so it doesn't incur server costs. The app should remain functional until Apple goes bankrupt. I use the Reddit API to get images from communities like /r/memes and /r/dankmemes. 4. Will memes data update frequently? Due to server and Reddit API limitations, memes will NOT be updated daily.
