The design features no pocket flaps and a cinch belt at the waist, true to wartime specifications. The buckle is a custom-made iron piece, and the pocket bags are lined with “Shogyō Mujō” (impermanence) printed slake fabric. Finished with iron pine-tree buttons and Samurai rivets, the jacket faithfully recreates the simplified construction unique to the wartime era, while incorporating distinctive Samurai-style details.
