In recognition of Black History Month, the FRSUU Anti-Racism Initiative is hosting a screening of the Academy Award winning 2004 film, CRASH, on Saturday, February 28 at 10:00am at The Screening Room in Newburyport. The film interweaves several connected stories about race, class, family and gender in post 9/11 Los Angeles. As time allows, join us after the film for a brief discussion and an opportunity to consider the relevance of the 8th principle and the spiritual work of dismantling racism and other oppressions. Suggested donation is $10 at the door, payable in cash or check (made out to FRSUU) to defray costs. Tickets are limited; reserve your seats HERE.
