It’s been a process of continuous growth and learning, so that today they can offer products whose quality is more than respectable — it's a reflection of the family's nearly four generations worth of said growth.Following the height of the armed conflict in the Caqueta region, the family was forced to migrate from a region they had lived and worked in for generations. Like many others, they ended up in the southern region of the Huila department, where, shortly after the region’s timber and cinchona tree ran dry, coffee farming began to become popular.They had prior knowledge about cattle, corn, and sawmills, but upon beginning their journey with coffee, they’ve had to fumble around, learning from mistakes and successes. Though at times often challenging, this has allowed them to acquire the necessary experience to work in the best possible way with the fewest resources.
