Patients with acquired adult flatfoot deformity typically have a chronic flatfoot deformity that may be worsening with pain on the inside of the ankle due to inflammation and excessive loading of the nearby posterior tibial tendon. Pain can also occur on the outside fo the ankle jaming of the bones in the sinus tarsi.
