Goodland is an early-bearing popular multi-use apple that’s great for fresh eating and processing. Makes a wonderful applesauce or pie. The apples have light green washed skin with red blush. It has a white flesh that is crisp, juicy, tender and slightly aromatic. A good-sized apple, averaging 6 to 9 cm (3.5") in diameter can get bigger if properly thinned. Fruit can be harvested from late August into late September, the longer you wait the sweeter the apples become.
