Reading the signs of the times, the congregation of the sisters of St. Anne, Tiruchirapalli has vowed to place the thrust on opting for the poor. It has been working for the cause of education and the upliftment of the poor and down trodden. After a thorough study, reflection, prayer and discernment, we have proposed to extend our mission through job oriented training programme, in the name and style of St. Anne's College of Engineering and Technology, chiefly focusing on the option for the poor and established the same in the academic year 2009-2010. Our aim is to give hope and dignity through education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, intellect is expanded and also by which one can stand on one's feet.
