Class Schedule When to Sign Up The duration of our swimming class sessions is two months. New sessions begin in January, March, May, July, September, and November. Online registration opens around the 20th of the month before each new session begins. Please revisit our class registration page after February 20th for March-April Classes. April 20th for May – June Classes. June 20th for July – August Classes. August 20th for September – October Classes. October 20th for November – December Classes. December 20th for January – February Classes. ALL PROGRAMS ARE FOR ADULTS AND YOUTH Our pools are generally 4 feet deep in the shallow end.  Students who are not able to demonstrate competent independent movement and balance in that depth of water, must be accompanied by an adult family member in the water with them. Get Ready Get Wet: Build comfort and confidence in preparation for actual swim instruction. (30 Minutes) The class introduces new swimmers to the water. Children as young as 6 years old can participate if an adult family member  joins them in the water. Learn to Swim: Learn proper breathing and streamlining techniques, freestyle and backstroke. (1 Hour) Learn to swim advanced class teaches freestyle and backstroke. Stroke Enhancement Program: Learn skills in preparation for joining a competitive team. (1-1.5 Hours) For swimmers who have good freestyle and backstroke but want to learn breaststroke, butterfly, starts and turns. Competitive Program: Improve speed and stamina across all events. (1.5-2 Hours) For swimmers who are already on a swim team but need to refine their technique. The class is appropriate for triathletes,  competitive swimmers, and water sport clinic participants. Adaptive Program: Drowning is the leading cause of death for children with autism. But it doesn’t have to be.
