It all began… …when the Indiana Conference decided to relocate Beechwood Academy in a more suitable place. After much consideration some land near Cicero, Indiana was chosen and purchased. To this new location the Academy was moved and renamed. Despite a rainy start to the morning, prayers were answered with good weather for our Community Block Party on Sunday, September 14. It was a joyful time of fun, food, and fellowship, and even the vendors witnessed the power of our faith in God. A huge thank you goes out to all who helped make this event a success, including Aida and Sarah Statham, Art Osborn, Myles Phillips, Brenda Payne, Pastor Jeff Bradburn, Pastor Rodney Paine II, Jeff Holtsclaw, David, Stephen and Anni Macri, Adael Ramos, Eric and Dominique Ames, Edeny Apulu, Luke and Maria Hamilton, Charles Powers, Todd Hansen, Kendra Gibson, and the Spanish Sabbath School Group. Most of all, we give special thanks to Bret and Chris McKay for their commitment to our church and community and for the tireless effort they poured into making this event possible.
