Для создания системы предупреждения (например, для регистрации явлений типа челябинского), естественно необходимы более крупные телескопы. Однако главным здесь являются не телескопы, а математическое обеспечение, позволяющее эффективно использовать телескопы. Считаю, что проект будущей системы оповещения астероидной и кометной опасности должен приниматься на конкурсной основе. Хотя я вхожу формально в комиссию Академии Наук по противодействию астероидной опасности, но фактически опыт нашей работы нигде не используется.
