The mixed fabric made of 98% cotton and 2% elastane contributes to optimal wearing properties. Origin of jeans & joggers Pants were originally made of cotton, but these were less suitable as workwear. Therefore, in the French city of Genes (pronounced in English jeans) with the immigration to America and the ulterior motive to produce robust workwear, it was produced under the current name of jeans. Joggers, on the other hand, were only produced for jogging or as training pants for sports in the past. The texture is extremely similar to the t-shirt as it is often made from the same fabric. Cuffs are often integrated in the ankle and waistband area for a firmer hold. Nowadays, however, joggers are also worn as a fashion accessory or for a casual streetwear look.
