Im Kern handelt es sich bei dieser Strategie um ein typisches Stillhaltergeschäft, jedoch mit "gehebelter Wahrscheinlichkeit": die theoretische Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass der Short-Kontrakt zur Fälligkeit im Geld sein wird (ausgedrückt im Delta des Short puts), wird hier mit der hohen Trefferquote der saisonal starken Phasen gekoppelt.
