أديس أبابا، 21 مارس 2026 (إينا) أكد سفير بنغلاديش لدى إثيوبيا، الفريق أول طيار سيتوات نعيم، أن بلاده تسعى جاهدة لتعزيز تعاونها مع إثيوبيا، مع التركيز على الزراعة والطاقة المتجددة والعمل المناخي. وأشاد نعيم، في تصريحات أدلى بها عقب زيارات قام بها إلى مناطق زراعية خارج العاصمة الإثيوبية، بالتقدم السريع الذي أحرزته إثيوبيا في هذا القطاع، مسلطاً الضوء على الفرص الكبيرة المتاحة للنمو المشترك والتعاون. وتولي إثيوبيا، التي تتمتع بظروف بيئية مواتية للإنتاجية الزراعية، اهتماماً متزايداً بالزراعة، ولا سيما القمح، وتضعها في صميم أجندة تحولها الاقتصادي. وقد برزت قصة نجاح القمح كمثال رائد لطموحات إثيوبيا التنموية الأوسع، حيث تعهدت الحكومة بمشاركة تجربتها مع دول شرق أفريقيا. وفي هذا السياق، أكد السفير نعيم على الإنجازات الزراعية لبنغلاديش، ولا سيما انتقالها إلى الاكتفاء الذاتي من الأرز. وقال: "لقد انتقلت بنغلاديش من استيراد الأرز إلى تصديره في بعض الأحيان. وتقدم هذه التجربة دروسًا قيّمة". وأضاف السفير: "يمكن للبلدين التعاون، لا سيما في مجال الزراعة وتبادل المعرفة". وبعيدًا عن الزراعة، أشاد السفير بالتحول الطموح لإثيوبيا نحو الطاقة المتجددة، واصفًا إياها بأنها نموذج يُحتذى به للدول النامية. وأشار نعيم إلى أن "إثيوبيا تتخذ إجراءات حاسمة في مجال الطاقة النظيفة". وفيما يتعلق بتغير المناخ، وجّه السفير رسالة قوية تُؤكد على ضرورة التحرك العاجل، مُشددًا على هشاشة الوضع المشترك بين بنغلاديش والدول الأفريقية. وقال: "نحن الأقل إنتاجًا، ومع ذلك نعاني أكثر من غيرنا"، مُشيرًا إلى التأثير غير المتناسب لتغير المناخ على الدول النامية. وبالإشارة إلى المناقشات التي دارت في قمة الاتحاد الأفريقي، سلّط الضوء على الإجماع المتزايد على الحاجة إلى عمل عالمي جماعي. ودعا نعيم الدول الأكثر عرضة للخطر إلى تعزيز جهودها في مجال المناصرة على الساحة الدولية، والضغط من أجل اتخاذ تدابير ملموسة لمكافحة تغير المناخ وخفض الانبعاثات. واختتم حديثه قائلاً: "هذا هو الوقت المناسب لرفع أصواتنا واتخاذ إجراءات من أجل المستقبل".
