He shared the KING mic in those days with the likes of Al Cummings, Frosty Fowler, Mark Wayne, Pat Lewis, Ray Court, Ray Briem, Bill Terry, Buzz Lawrence and Bob Concie. Bell says: August 13, 2019 1:20 pm at Here is a truly “off topic” story…Back in 1964, the 17yo version of me, was staying home from school, nursing a cold…I began watching a movie on what I think was KOMO Tv, channel 4 in Seattle…a few minutes into this (foreign) movie, the pretty gal protagonist in the movie took her clothes off–on camera!!….this caught my undivided attention…and a few minutes later, a friend of hers appeared topless!!….after that scene, the TV announcer hurriedly declared that there would be a station break for commercials–he sounded startled!…after the break, a totally different movie was shown!
