It's about to get Stanky Up In HERE! Welcome to STANKFEST 2024 A two-night funk-affair. Featuring some of the best funk and Jazz musicians from the Ottawa-Gatineau area. Saturday December 28 Finely Tuned Elephant ottawa, on Finely Tuned Elephant is a Canadian instrumental jazz and rock fusion experience. Finely Tuned Elephant pulls inspiration from a diverse spectrum, folding together influences from world music, contemporary jazz, and progressive metal - to name only a few. Consequently, Finely Tuned Elephant is an explosive auditory adventure, known for technical yet catchy compositions and electrifying live performances. Their second full length self-produced album "The Fast Life" was released on March 4th, 2022. 2022 was a triumphant year for the band, with an album release and 25+ live performances, including an August tour on the East Coast of Canada. They kicked off 2023 with a packed show at House of Targ alongside progressive rock juggernauts The Aphelion and Pyramid Theorem, followed by a mini tour in Montreal and Toronto alongside Pyramid Theorem. Throughout this time, they have been writing new material for their upcoming third album. These songs have been debuted at their recent live performances across Ontario and Quebec. Finely Tuned Elephant is Jordan Robinson (guitars), Cyrus Robertson Orkish (bass), and Kyle Iveglia (drums).
