ML Lottery Predictor is an educational app that uses an LSTM neural network trained on historical MegaMillions and Powerball data to predict future lottery numbers. While the model may appear confident, this is not a gambling app. The goal is to demonstrate an important lesson for aspiring developers: just because a machine learning algorithm finds patterns or correlations doesn’t mean they’re meaningful. Sometimes, correlation is just coincidence—and understanding that is part of learning to work with AI. The full source code is available on my GitHub, and I plan to continue improving the app with new features. I’ll do my best to keep it up to date, though I can’t make any guarantees.
