The WE-ACT app is designed to promote better communication between cancer patients and their employers and between cancer patients and their healthcare teams. Victoria Blinder, MD, MSc, is a board certified medical oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with a practice that is dedicated to the treatment of patients with cancer. Her research focuses on understanding and addressing disparities in cancer outcomes. She is the primary investigator of the WE-ACT Study, which tests an early version of this mobile health app designed to help cancer patients keep their jobs during and after treatment.
