Create custom sets with your own words or terms and definitions. Also supports import from CSV. Customise player in whatever way is more suitable for you. Decrease or increase playing speed, add longer pauses etc. The app uses built-in iOS text-to-speech capabilities so the list of supported languages depends on iOS version you have.
