The Baby Yourself Maternity Program app helps ensure expectant mothers and their babies receive the best possible healthcare during pregnancy by allowing mothers to track their pregnancy and baby’s development. This program is available to expectant mothers, regardless of whether or not their pregnancy is normal or high risk. The app provides dynamic features available to those mothers both registered in the Baby Yourself Maternity Program or for those seeking a customized experience, within a personalized pregnancy and parenting resource. Features include: • Weekly updates on baby's development and body changes for expectant mothers • Mood and symptom tracking • Blood pressure tracking • Hospital bag checklists • Kick counter • Contraction counter • Personalized birth plan to share with doctor • Daily pregnancy and parenting tips • Photo gallery and tracker to show the belly growth • Pregnancy and family dynamic related health articles Eligible program participants will receive: • Support and educational material from a Blue Cross registered nurse, experienced in prenatal care, labor and delivery, and newborn care • A personal nurse that you can call with any questions or concerns throughout your pregnancy • Prompts to enroll in the program directly and keep your nurse updated throughout your pregnancy by answering trimester questions within the app. • Care coordination, including the arrangement of home health services when indicated, for high-risk pregnancies • Useful gifts that support healthy habits, highlight the importance of prenatal care, and address the changes and challenges that accompany pregnancy *There is no charge to download Baby Yourself, but rates from your wireless provider may apply.
