Then you can contact the police directly through the app. AMBER Alert Through the Burgernet app, you also receive AMBER Alerts when a missing child is in life-threatening danger. You can recognize an AMBER Alert by the orange color and the title AMBER Alert. About the app The app uses your smartphone’s location to send you notifications about incidents in your area — even when you’re away from home. Participation is anonymous; your personal data or location are not tracked.
