Religious minds only look for reinforcement of their doctrine; no exception everyone must think alike, act alike and look alike. God however is a God of diversity. The oak, the hemlock, the birch and the pine can all grow in the same forest yet each is distinct. If we only look for God in the pines then we will miss the God that is revealed by the oak; but if we receive one another not in judgment but in a spirit of openheartedness then our diversity of thought and experience can lead to a much fuller understanding of our one, true and loving God.
