BeCare Camp Lejeune mobile app is designed to help the over 1 million military personnel and their families exposed to toxic water supply between 1953 and 1987 while stationed at Camp Lejeune. This toxic exposure has created long-term health issues, including cancer and neurologic issues. Now we are releasing the BeCare Camp Lejeune app to help collect information on specific neurological issues that may have resulted from previous exposure to toxic substances. Our apps function as remote assessment tools for quantitative measurement of neurologic function. We rely on objective data as well as patient-reported symptoms. By completing game-like activities on your mobile phone from home or elsewhere, the app can collect data on neurological or cognitive abnormalities, that you can choose to share with your physician and/or lawyer.
