The current version of the app includes the following features: Radar - Interactive map with recent radar imagery - Zoom to any location in the continental U.S. - Current radar as well as the last hour’s radar loop Certified Snowfall Totals* - Post-storm snow and ice verification service - Expert analysts determine how much snow and ice fell after each event - View data for your locations by storm or by season Storm Alert Forecasts* - Customized weather forecasts with predictions up to 5 days into the future - Forecasts are thoughtfully hand-written by a meteorologist to be clear and understandable - Receive a push notification when a forecast is issued for your area Heads-Up Notifications* - Call-to-action alerts when wintry or severe weather is approaching - Heads-Ups issued by our meteorologists detail the type and timing of the impending weather threat in a brief sentence or two - Receive a push notification when a Heads-Up is issued for your area (optionally have your phone play the WeatherWorks “weather notification” tone) - Access past Heads-Ups in the archive Winter Risk* - Winter-weather forecasts out to 5 days in the future - Updated daily Snow Spotters - Participate in our public snow observing network - After a storm, measure how much snow you got and submit a report - Access all the reports you submitted in the archive - A guide on how to measure snow and submit a report is included right in the app * Some features within in this app are for paid client only
