Au XXe siècle, 23 missionnaires ont offert leur vie en martyre et sont devenus saints. Aujourd'hui, les MEP comptent 155 prêtres dans 13 pays et elles continuent de prendre part à l'annonce de la Bonne Nouvelle, en envoyant en Asie et dans l'océan Indien des prêtres missionnaires à vie.
