In addition, updates were made to language and organization for purposes of clarity and to conform to the standard policy format. Specific changes include the following: Updated title, to be more inclusive. Replaced references to mother with employee, to be more inclusive. Replaced references to nursing with lactating, to be more inclusive. Added language to encourage access to a sink in lactation/wellness rooms. Clarified that employees who work remotely must be free from observation. Added the word "Wellness" to Lacation Room, to be more inclusive. Clarified definition for Lactation/Wellness Room to make clear that a bathroom cannot serve as a lactation room. Added a definition for "Non-Exempt Employee."
