euphoria records began in chicago circa 1996. primarily the artist label for producers adam collins and marky star (omni a.m) and later joined by corey d labadie, euphoria’s sound challenged the strict conventions of what “defined” house music during the late ‘90s. these collaborations (as well as many others) with some of the best known artists of the genre, including terry francis, mark ambrose, freaky chakra and hip-house legend tyree cooper, have led to cross-atlantic recognition of euphoria records as one of the american innovators of what is now celebrated as tech-house.
