Seeing The Full Digital Picture: Manus and Similarweb Go Deeper

In January, we partnered with Manus to bring Similarweb data directly into their AI agents. Within days, usage took off. Manus users started exploring competitor traffic, comparing markets, and digging into channel performance, all from a single conversation. As people got comfortable, they pushed further. They asked for more data points, more depth, and more ways to use Similarweb inside their workflows.
Today, we’re answering that demand. The Manus integration now includes six new dataset groups, opening up new use cases across competitive analysis, market research, SEO, content strategy, and partnership discovery. And our official Similarweb MCP connector is now live on the Manus app marketplace, giving Similarweb customers a direct path into the same workflows.
Seeing the full digital picture
Until now, Manus users could see how a website was performing at the top line: visits, growth, audience size. That’s a strong starting point, but most business questions don’t stop there. Competitive analysis, market entry, SEO planning, and partnership discovery all need more context. They need the signals that show what’s actually driving performance.
That’s what this expansion adds. Six new dataset groups, available directly inside Manus:
- Keywords data for any search term, including demand, difficulty, CPC, and user intent
- Website Analysis Keywords to break down a domain’s branded vs. unbranded search performance
- Incoming Referrals to map the partners, media, and AI sources sending traffic to a website
- Outgoing Referrals to track where users go next, including new platform and payment integrations
- Landing Pages to identify which specific pages are winning organic and paid search
- Popular Pages to see which pages on a site command the most overall attention
Visits tell users how a website is performing. Keywords and referrals show what’s driving that performance. Landing pages and popular pages show where the impact is concentrated. Together, these signals give Manus users the full digital picture of any company, market, or competitor they want to understand.
Real-world examples
The fastest way to show what’s possible is to look at the kind of answers Manus can now produce when you ask a real question.
Ask Manus where shopify.com’s users go after they leave the site, and you’d see shop.app at the top of the list in February 2026 with nearly 30% of outgoing traffic, down 29% from the previous month. PayPal sat in third with 9.08%. One prompt reveals how Shopify’s ecosystem and payment partners compete for outgoing traffic.
Ask Manus to map hubspot.com’s organic search performance, and you’d see their top non-branded keyword in April 2026 was “aeo grader” with 22,245 clicks, more than 4x the next-highest term. “Email signature generator,” “crm,” and “google search console” round out the top non-branded drivers, mostly informational intent. That’s a competitor content strategy in one conversation, including a clear signal about where they’re betting next.
Ask whether “project management software” is a keyword worth chasing in the US, and Manus comes back with a nuanced answer: yes, but selectively. Search volume averages around 14,000 a month, and CPC ranges from $8 to $67, so the commercial demand is real. But 71.6% of those searches are zero-click, an AI Overview appeared in every monthly pull, and average difficulty sits at 71. A strategic call that used to take a research session, made in one conversation.
These are the workflows that competitive intelligence teams, SEO leads, growth marketers, and partnerships teams used to run across multiple tools, exports, and analysts. They now happen inside a single conversation, grounded in Similarweb data, started with a plain-language question.
The Similarweb MCP connector, now on the Manus app marketplace
Alongside the data expansion, our official Similarweb MCP connector is now live on the Manus app marketplace. For existing Similarweb customers, this is the most direct way to bring your subscription into Manus. Connect your API key once, and the data available in your plan becomes available in your Manus conversations.
The native integration and the MCP connector are designed for different users. All Manus Pro users get the integrated Similarweb data experience out of the box, with Manus credits covering the cost. Similarweb customers who want deeper or higher-volume access can opt into the MCP connector and use the metrics included in their subscription. Same underlying data, two ways in.

Which teams are already leveraging the integration
The expanded data inside Manus works for any team that uses digital signals to make decisions. A few audiences are getting the most out of it.
Competitive intelligence and market research teams. Map a market, benchmark a set of competitors, or assess a new vertical in one conversation. Traffic, keywords, referrals, and pages combine into a competitive picture that used to take days to build.
SEO and content teams. Evaluate a keyword’s demand and difficulty before writing a brief. Reverse-engineer which competitor pages are winning search, and which terms they rank for. Compare branded and unbranded search performance across rivals.
Growth marketers. Diagnose where competitors are winning, which channels are driving their growth, and where there’s room to take share.
Sales and account research teams. Screen prospects by digital activity, prioritize accounts using traffic and engagement signals, and prepare outreach context grounded in real data.
Partnerships and business development teams. Use incoming referrals to surface active partner relationships. Use outgoing referrals to see which platforms competitors depend on, including new integrations as they appear.
Founders, strategists, and analysts. Validate a market, size an opportunity, package the findings into a deck or report, all without leaving Manus.
A growing AI ecosystem
This expansion is part of a growing ecosystem of partners bringing Similarweb data into the AI tools our customers are already using to make decisions. The Manus team has been a strong partner in that work, and the way we’ve built this integration reflects something we both believe: an AI agent is only as useful as the data it reaches for.
We’ll keep expanding what’s available inside Manus, refining how the integration responds to real workflows, and making it easier for joint customers to get more out of both products.
The data behind competitor growth is no longer locked behind dashboards and endless reports. It’s where the questions are being asked.
FAQ
Do I need a Similarweb subscription to use this?
No. All Manus Pro users can access the integrated Similarweb data experience using Manus credits. You’ll need a separate Similarweb account to use the MCP Connector.
What’s the difference between the integrated experience and the MCP connector?
The integrated experience is built into Manus and available to all Pro users, with usage charged via Manus credits. The MCP connector is for existing Similarweb customers who want to connect their own API key and use the metrics included in their Similarweb subscription via Similarweb credits.
Do I need to know which Similarweb metric to ask for?
No. Start with a business question in plain language. For example, ask Manus to build a competitive brief, evaluate a keyword, map referralsources, or identify which pages on a competitor’s site are getting the most visits. The agent decides which Similarweb signals to use.
Can Manus turn the findings into a report or deck?
Yes. Once Manus has the data, you can ask it to format the output as a slide deck, written report, table, chart, or executive summary.
How do I get started with the MCP connector?
The Similarweb MCP connector is now live on the Manus app marketplace. Simply connect the app and enter your API key to start using the data inside Manus right away.
