There are three programmes available: British TESOL Foundation Certificate British TESOL Professional Certificate British TESOL Level 5 Certificate (CELTA Equivalent) The British TESOL training consists of 14 modules to update theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Self-study video lectures and theory components include the four skills, plus classroom management, learner profiles, assessment methods, lesson planning and contemporary topics of English for Academic Purposes, teaching large classes and Global Englishes. The contents reflect current trends in ESOL in the UK to ensure teachers delivering English courses are confident and competent. For the Professional & Level 5 Certificate teachers will have the opportunity to attend live online workshops with a UK teacher trainer to highlight key areas, provide practical teaching tips and answer participants’ queries.
