Ticket purchases and subscription management: In the app, you can easily buy the right ticket, take out season tickets and manage them. You can pay for your online bus and rail ticket in three ways. You can choose between PayPal, credit card and direct debit. Our app uses the Android location foreground service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_TYPE_LOCATION) exclusively during an actively user-initiated Check-In-Be-Out ride. The foreground service starts only when the user explicitly begins a ride and is required to continuously track location in real time, even when the app is in the background, in order to calculate the correct ride price. Background location access alone is insufficient because uninterrupted, high-frequency location updates are required throughout the active ride. While the ride is active, the app displays a persistent foreground service notification informing the user that location tracking is ongoing.
