Users can stop the monitoring at any time from the notification. For Android 14 and above, the app requests permission to show this notification to ensure user awareness and control. This background measurement process represents the core and user-visible functionality of Pingmon, and therefore requires the FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE permission.
