Card mode allows you to authenticate by presenting your phone against the reader without needing to unlock the screen. It prevents unwanted door opening by only opening doors when the mobile phone is approaching the reader or the intercom - static phones and phones moving away from the reader won’t authenticate. My2N utilizes a foreground service for the following purposes: Calling: To seamlessly initiate and manage calls. Without the foreground service, users will only receive notifications of incoming calls but will not be able to receive the calls themselves.
