The correlation function allows the operator to study the suspicious signals. When the 'CORR' button is pressed in close proximity to a hidden transmitter the unit produces probing 'beep' signals. The sound is picked up by the transmitting bug and then relayed back to the Protect 1206i. In that moment the Protect 1206i will produce a demodulated noise indicative of the type of transmission.
