Tax Administration does not want any tax policy amendments until the end of the next year because too many projects which will present huge relief for tax payers in Serbia are on-going. We would like to implement those projects within a year and that would take years in other states. What are its basic elements and how much time does it take to implement such tax policy – are some of the questions Biznis Magazin asked ‘the first exciseman of Serbia’, Ivan Simič, the Manager of Tax Administration of Serbia. His reply was resolute and clear: now is not the time for amending tax policy since it would topple on-going projects. More precisely, Ivan Simič states in an interview for our magazine: – New tax policy will be proposed by new ministers who have those ideas. Tax Administration does not want any amendments of tax policy until the end of next year since there are too many on-going projects which will present a great relief for tax payers in Serbia, such as a collective payment, i.e. one form for registering all natural person’s earnings and one payment account for all taxes and contributions. Then, there is a reorganization of entire organizational structure of Tax Administration which will be finalized by the end of the year. By March next year we will introduce on-line fiscal cash registers and from July 1, 2014 we will introduce e-business for tax payers.
