It is modeled after the LaGana-also known as a Vietnam hawk. This particular man wanted his to be fitted with an axe handle rather than a tomahawk handle so it is shaped differently and is wedged. We are working on another of these hawks for someone else that will have a standard hawk handle. We had our Amish craftsmen make a custom sheath for it as well.
