Students build and segment 24 compound words through four skill levels: emergent (pictures only) to mastery (text only). Build Compound Words is designed for use with students in therapy or independent work settings. Build Compound Words provides comprehensive practice for: - Students who are developing language and literacy skills (ESL, ELA, ELL, D/HH, SL, LD, ASD, DCD) - 2nd grade students working at grade level on CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.2.4.d: Use knowledge of the meaning of individual words to predict the meaning of compound words.
