Video Consultation Permissions: We ask for camera and audio permissions (CAMERA and RECORD_AUDIO) to facilitate video and audio consultations when a patient arranges a telehealth appointment.
File Upload Permissions: We request file storage permissions (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) to enable uploading photos or files, allowing patients to share documents with their medical team or save important information.
Bluetooth Access: We ask for Bluetooth permissions (BLUETOOTH/BLUETOOTH_ADMIN) to enable the usage of external microphones or headphones for your appointment.
COVID-19 Data Usage: PlushCare only uses the personal data it acquires for COVID-19-related purposes in conjunction with its app’s user-facing purpose.
Health Connect Data Access: As part of our Personal Care Plan feature, and with patient consent, PlushCare uses READ_BLOOD_PRESSURE, READ_RESTING_HEART_RATE, READ_ACTIVITY_INTENSITY, and READ_ACTIVE_CALORIES_BURNED to support personalized care plans and tracking health and activity trends. Access is limited to these permissions and handled in accordance with our privacy and security standards.
