When the LA Clippers prepared to take to The Intuit Dome as their new home court, they set out to create a fan experience unlike anything in professional sports. To bring the ambition to life, the team partnered with Spinifex to design and deliver ‘The Halo’—a seamless double-sided scoreboard with over an acre of LED. At over 5 times the size of the next NBA Scoreboard and with more pixels than the Las Vegas Sphere, it provided the potential to redefine the fan experience. Suspended above the court, ‘The Halo’ became the centerpiece of a fully programmable environment, capable of transforming gameplay into an immersive, 360-degree spectacle. With elements like the game being played to a custom score composed by Hans Zimmer, every touchpoint was engineered to draw fans deeper into the action. Through design, technology, and storytelling, Spinifex helped the Clippers enter a totally new dimension in sport as entertainment.
