Microbiology Virtual Patients is innovative medical education app designed in collaboration with Glasgow Medical School to teach students about identifying disease and applying appropriate treatment in a virtual hospital. The app was created in collaboration with Glasgow Medical School, Scotland (www.gla.ac.uk/schools/medicine/) and adapted from microbiology guidelines derived from Greater Glasgow and Clyde Microbiologists (www.nhsggc.org.uk/‎) in 2014 Use the app with caution, it is a training tool and not a replacement for clinical judgement.
