The two made a formidable team; their eatery soon became a fixture in town, and seemed destined to become an institution. That is, until the old man turned to his wife one day and said... Y'know, I've been thinkin'... Such was the beginning of his pitch to turn their humble establishment into a ramen shop. His wife was taken aback, but after a moment's pause, merely smiled back at him. What a lovely idea. I'll help however I can. For you see, they'd always shared a quiet regret between them.
