About MSRTC - The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation abbreviated as (MSRTC, or simply ST), is the state-run bus service of Maharashtra, India which serves routes to towns and cities within Maharashtra as well as to its adjoining states. About This App - This application is for passengers of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC). This application helps passengers/commuters to facilitate with MSRTC bus information. It shows your position on the map (if your phone GPS is on) and nearby bus stops, otherwise you have to choose a stop. Once it detects your position or stop chosen by you, it shows all running buses nearby that location on the map. In order to get details of any of the visible buses, tap on the bus icon on the map. It will show Route, Bus Number and current location at the bottom panel of the screen. Bus Stand Near Me – This feature has been provided to enable the users/commuters search nearby bus stands/stops from their current location based on their geo-location. For the nearby Bus Stand they can see the upcoming bus timetable as well. Along with these commuters can see the mobile passenger information system for all the upcoming buses and ready to depart buses from that location. Track Your Bus – This feature helps commuters/passengers in tracking the running MSRTC bus on designated route, simply enter the bus number. The searched bus has been shown on the screen, click on the “more” button to know the current location of the running bus it will be shown on the live map with its route information. Time Table - This feature helps passengers to know the time table of ST buses from a give Source and Destination, for example if a user would like to know the schedule between Dadar to Pune so they can search source= Dadar East and Destination=Swargate, Pune. App will show different time intervals when buses are scheduled to go or running from Dadar to Pune. Passenger Information System (PIS) - Mobile version of PIS (Passenger Information System), where the ETA (Expected Time of Arrival) & STD (Scheduled Time of Departure) is shown for the buses either leaving that bus station/stand or coming to that specific bus station/stand. Emergency – this section is provided for SOS considering the safety of the women passengers in mind with multiple options like in case of help/support required by a women passenger for any mis-happening, in case of bus break down, in case of medical assistance is required or to report an accident, simple chose the option provided on the mobile app. My Favourite – all favourite routes, PIS and bus(s) set by the commuter can be seen here.
