Communication Guard is a privacy-first iPhone utility for local message filtering and personal call protection. Filter suspicious SMS, protect verification codes and transaction alerts, and manage numbers to block or identify. Main Features: · SMS Filtering Built-in rules recognize common scam, promotion, and suspicious-link patterns while prioritizing OTPs, payments, and important service alerts. · Custom Message Rules Create sender allowlists and blocklists, keyword rules, exclusions, and advanced rules with allow, transaction, promotion, or junk results. · Call Protection Add numbers to block or attach caller identity labels, then reload the iOS Call Directory extension. · Local Message Analysis Paste a suspicious message for on-device analysis. The content is not saved or uploaded. · Import, Export & Backup Import and export call rules as CSV, and create, merge, or replace local JSON backups. · Guided Setup Follow clear steps to enable the message filter and call identification extensions in iOS. Privacy First: No account or service server is required. Core rules and user data stay on your device, and message content and phone numbers are not uploaded. The app cannot read historical messages or call logs. Free to Use: The app is free and may show a launch ad. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. System Notes: iOS requires you to enable the extensions manually. Message filtering primarily applies to messages from unknown senders. Call blocking and caller ID use only the rules you add. FILTERING CRITERIA & LIST SOURCES: Communication Guard does not include a developer-maintained public phone-number blacklist and does not download blocking lists from a server, community, or third-party database. Sender allowlists and blocklists contain only entries manually added and confirmed by the user. Built-in SMS filtering evaluates local content signals such as requests for verification codes or sensitive information, urgent account warnings, suspicious links, fake refund claims, prepaid task or job scams, loan or investment language, and promotional patterns. Phone numbers are not automatically added to any list. If no user rule or built-in rule matches, the message remains unclassified.
