You have been told what to avoid. This tells you what to eat. Kidney Food Plan takes the restrictions your kidney team has actually given you and builds a personal eating plan around them: what to go easy on, what to choose instead, the foods that interact with your medicines, and recipes that fit. There is nothing to log. No food diary, no weighing, no counting. You answer a few questions once, and the plan is yours. WHAT IT COVERS Your treatment. Chronic kidney disease, haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis or a transplant. Each one changes the advice, and sometimes reverses it. On dialysis the protein target goes up rather than down, and the app tells you so plainly. Your restrictions. Potassium, phosphate, urate and gout, uric acid stones, oxalate stones, diabetes, and lower or higher protein. Your medicines. Warfarin, tacrolimus and ciclosporin, statins, levothyroxine, iron tablets, and the blood pressure medicines that raise potassium. It flags the foods that genuinely matter for each, including grapefruit and the salt substitutes that push potassium up without warning. How you eat. Pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan. Halal and kosher. Coeliac disease, lactose intolerance, nut allergy, IBS and low FODMAP, and modified texture for swallowing difficulty. WHERE IT EARNS ITS PLACE Restrictions contradict one another, and nobody usually says so out loud. Stone prevention asks you to drink more, while dialysis asks you to drink considerably less. Oxalate advice wants calcium at every meal, while phosphate advice limits dairy. Gluten free bread is frequently raised with phosphate additives, which is the last thing a phosphate restriction needs. The app looks for those collisions in your own particular combination, explains which one takes priority and why, and tells you when to take the question back to your team. THE RECIPES 112 recipes, ordered so that the ones needing no changes at all come first. Where a dish needs a tweak for one of your restrictions, the tweak is written on the recipe itself, naming the actual substitution rather than vaguely suggesting you find a version that fits.
