Paladin turns the forecast into a picture. Instead of rows of icons, the next 72 hours unfold as continuous charts — meteograms — that you scrub through hour by hour with your finger. It is built on ALADIN, the high-resolution weather model run by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI) for Czechia and Central Europe. Short-range, fine-grained, and updated around the clock, it is the model local meteorologists actually look at. FIVE PANELS, ONE TIMELINE Swipe between five chart panels that share a single scrolling time scale — the hour you are looking at stays put while you switch views: • Weather — temperature and feels-like curves with rain and snow columns • Wind — sustained wind, gusts, and direction arrows • Humidity — relative humidity around the clock • Pressure — the air-pressure trend at a glance • Clouds — a time-and-altitude cross-section of cloud cover built from 17 pressure levels, so you can tell low stratus from high cirrus SCRUB THE TIMELINE Touch any chart and a cursor follows your finger with exact values for that hour. The header follows along, showing conditions for the moment under your fingertip — not just "now". A LIVING SKY The background is drawn from the forecast itself: it shifts with dawn, dusk, cloud cover, rain and snow, so the app looks like the weather it describes. FAST AND HONEST • Forecasts are cached on your device. The last forecast appears instantly and refreshes in the background; if the network fails you keep the cached data with a clear "Cached" badge — never a blank screen. • Save your favourite places, or just use your current location. • Free. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your location is used only to fetch the forecast for where you are. • Fully localized in English and Czech.
