"I can follow the diagram until the rope goes behind itself." That is where rope work usually breaks down. Musuberu builds the knot in front of you in real 3D. Spin it with a finger to look at the back. Slow it to half speed. Step back one move. Learn at the pace your hands actually work. ■ Find it by what you're doing "Pitch a tent or tarp", "strap a load in the truck", "bundle it up", "shoelaces". Eleven situations, thirty-three real goals — two taps to the knot that fits, with one line explaining why it's the right one. Not being able to find the knot when you actually need it is the single most common complaint about knot apps. That is the part we rebuilt from scratch. ■ Colour tells you which end to move The standing part is teal. The working end is orange. The strand that grows during the animation is the one your hand moves. No more tying it mirrored. ■ It shows the final cinch The animation doesn't stop when the end is threaded. It keeps going until the knot pulls tight and settles into its finished shape, so you can compare it against the rope in your hands. ■ At your pace ・0.5x / 1x / 1.5x / 2x playback ・Loop, so you can practise while it repeats ・Reverse, to see how it comes apart ・Jump to any step with one tap ・Front / side / top / angled viewpoints ・Drag to orbit, pinch to zoom ■ Different names still find it Munter = Italian hitch. Clove hitch = ink knot. Trucker's hitch = power cinch. Every alias is searchable — and you can save your own name for a knot, which then shows up in the list. ■ Notes you can search "Truck bed — run it through the hook and double back twice." Write down what you worked out in the field, in your own words. Note text is searched too. ■ Tick off what you've learned Mark a knot as learned and your progress builds up, so you can pull up just the ones you still want to drill. ■ The 23 knots included Loops: bowline, figure-8 loop, slip knot Hitches: clove hitch, two half hitches, round turn & two half hitches, timber hitch, cow hitch, taut-line hitch, rolling hitch, trucker's hitch, constrictor, prusik Bends: reef knot, sheet bend, double fisherman's, water knot Stoppers: overhand, figure-8 Everyday: shoelace bow, cross tie for bundles, chain sinnet for cords, sheepshank We chose depth over count. A list of 200 knots is a list you can't choose from. ■ Works with no signal There is no networking code in the app at all. It runs on the mountain, on site, underground. No account, no sign-in. Everything you save stays on your device. ■ No ads, nothing more to buy Every feature is unlocked the moment you buy it. ■ A tutorial that lets you touch it On first launch you get a short walkthrough — and the very first page hands you a live 3D bowline to spin. You can reopen it any time from Settings. Note: this app is for learning knots. For anything where safety matters — life support, work at height, climbing — get proper training and verify with real rope and hardware. Requires iOS 17 or later. iPhone and iPad. Full English and Japanese interface.
