Know how high you are — and how high you have been today. AltiPuls reads the barometer and GPS in your Apple Watch and iPhone and turns them into a live altitude reading and a history chart you can actually read. From workouts — AltiPuls imports altitude from workout routes in the Health app. Read-only: it never writes anything back. 2. IMPORTANT: ADD THE COMPLICATION Eco mode collects data regularly only if the AltiPuls complication sits on your active watch face. This is how watchOS works: without a complication on the face, the system does not grant the app background time. Adding it takes thirty seconds, and it is the difference between a full chart and an empty one. BATTERY Precise mode records continuously and uses noticeably more battery. Use it for a hike, a run or a day on the slopes, and leave Eco mode on for everyday use. PRIVACY Your altitude, your records and your routes stay on your device. There is no account, no server of ours, no tracking and no ads. The only thing loaded from the network is the map itself, drawn by Apple Maps.
