What's in. One dinner out.
what to: cook is not a recipe app. It is the thing that decides.
You open it and a dish is already on screen. One dish - picked for the time on your clock and the food in your kitchen. Cook it, or swipe for another. That is the whole app.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open it. It opens on an answer, not a question. Breakfast, lunch or dinner comes from the clock. Time and effort come from what you chose last.
2. Correct it in one tap. The card shows the ingredients the dish is assuming you have. Tap "I don't have that" and the dish is out - and so is every future dish that needs it.
3. Swipe for another. A different answer, not the same one in a new order.
IT WILL NEVER NAME A DISH YOU CAN'T COOK
Every dish is checked against your kitchen before it is scored, not after. Allergens and diets reject first. An ingredient you said you hate stays gone forever. A dish past your time budget is filtered out - twenty minutes means twenty minutes.
- Ready now: everything it needs is already on your shelf.
- One short: cookable with a swap, or one thing on the way home - and it tells you which one, up front.
- Not tonight: held back honestly rather than dressed up.
IT REMEMBERS WHAT YOU ALREADY ATE
Cooked it Tuesday? It stays down. So does anything too close to it - same dish family, same headline ingredient. Repetition is the reason people quit cooking apps, and this one is built against it.
COOK WITH THESE
Standing at an open fridge holding an aubergine? Pick the ingredients you want used and ask again. You still get exactly one dish, and it is built around what you picked.
THE COOKBOOK
When you want to see what is in there, the cookbook lists every dish with an honest label on each row - ready, one short, not tonight. Tap one and it becomes tonight's pick. There is no search box in front of the answer, and there never will be.
REAL DISHES, NOT GENERATED ONES
Nothing here is invented on the spot. Every dish is a real dish, written down, weighed and photographed, with its ingredients checked against your kitchen. No hallucinated recipes, no 11 million results to scroll.
YOUR NUMBERS
How often the pick was the thing you actually cooked. That is the only score that matters, and it is in the app.
